There has been discussion about the 225.55.15 tyre and wheel size. I hav=
e a 94 325is sport suspension with that same setup and have been trying =
to decide if I should go to a 16 or even 17 wheel. I currently run 2-3 =
tracks per year and dont care if the street ride is a little more harder =
however I dont want any tramling nor do I want to change springs or shock=
s at present time. What size 16 (6.5, 7,7.5or 8) will fit without rubbin=
g or rolling the fenders and with what size rubber? And, which 17 will =
fit, if any? Is it better to try to find wheels off a 328 or M3 that wou=
ld fit or to buy after market wheels? I found some 17's (the five split =
spoke) off a wrecked M3 which I liked but question the size factor. Most=
aftermarket cast wheels that i have looked at do not appeal and the forg=
ed kind at $500 per wheel is too much money.
Assistant is much appreciated
