Short shift mod, tip # 6: Substitute for M3/328 shift lever

  Robert Szypicyn from the ti list put us on to the following.

  The shift lever from a Z3-1.9 - 25 11 1 434 148 ($52.50 retail) may be a
better substitute for the M3/328 ??? # shift lever, than the EURO M3 - 25 11 1
2 228 069 ($39.00 retail) shift lever.
  I have scans of the M-Z3, M3/328 and 069 levers at my home page with
dimensions, under the drivetrain heading.  The dimensions of the 148 lever
(from Rob) are 10 3/16", 6 11/16", 1 11/16" and 3/4" if you want to compare
them to the dimensions in the above mentioned scans.  If you do, you will see
the difference.  I will put up a scan of the 148 # (compliments of Dale
Beuning) when I receive it.
