<E30> Convertible Problemo

This is my third attempt at posting this message to the digest -- hopefully this one will 
appear. With my luck Majordomo probably thought this was spam. Okay...

I'm looking for a main convertible top motor. My motor and gearbox are fine, but 
the mounting point for the lever that folds up the plastic window has been 
sheared off. Good lookin' metal fatigue. All I really need is the case for the 
whole assembly (approx $400 new), so I'd like to find an old one that doesn't 
work and just rebuild the case. Anyone have a dead motor that they'd like to 
sell? I've tried a few junkyards with no luck. Anyone have any dealer contacts 
wherein they could snag a replaced one from the service dept? Any recommended 
junkyards in the DC area? Geez, so many questions...
