I was at a local place in Rockville, MD yesterday, and they had just
installed a Clifford (dont know which model) on a E36 Convertible. It
warned you before it went of with a VERY loud "STAND BACK FROM THE
VEHICLE..SYSTEM ARMED!" After a few more seconds, it stated "THIS IS THE
LAST WARNING BEFORE THE ALARM SOUNDS..BACK AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE!". I know,
sounds kind of hokey, but it was different. The owner of the shop said that
one was $500 installed. Apparently the owner had all the bells and whistles
hooked up on it. The voice was suprisingly loud.
