Brent,

I used to own a Honda and they are great cars, performance or
otherwise.  For example, Honda's 1.8 liter inline-4 produces about
200bhp (Integra, per Road & Track), compared to BMW's 1.9 litre inline-4
which produces 138bhp (318 series, per BMW).  Further, Honda engines
have been used successfully in F1 and Indy.  Many performance car
enthusiasts who don't want to spend extra for the BMW name have opted
for Hondas.  I think all in this digest would agree that BMW makes
*great* cars, but we need not bash other car manufacturers to prove
this.
