Thanks for your help. I already removed the clutch master cylinder earlier in
the week. I never got a response from the digest, so with a little luck and
use of the Haynes manual I figured out that the master was no good. The
dealer wanted $217.00, Bavarian Autosport came through again with the same
"FAG Brand" Clutch Master Cylinder for $89.00. When I removed the broken
part, it was the same brand. I can't understand how BMW can charge so much
for their parts.
