<E28> Dome Light

Hi All,

	Thanks to all for the reponses to my Dome light timer failure.  It turns
out that the contact closure that allows the light to stay on for 10-15 seconds
after the last door is closed, was broken off.  The driver's door handle when it
is lifted makes contact with a very thin copper contact on the door lock heater
control part # 61.31-1-374-784, completing the circuit.  The control consists of
an epoxy filled box(1"x1"x.75") with 5 wires coming out of it and a copper foil
contact.  This contact is bent back every time the door is opened and is not
replaceable.  It finally met it's fatigue limit.  Not a very clever design, not
even for a 60's US car.
