M Car Gathering Monday the 16th

What: M Car Gathering
When: Monday the 16th of September
Where: Scotts Seafood Bar and Grill
Why: If you're interested in M cars, you don't need
more reason...
Directions:
101 to Embarcadero exit in Palo Alto (CA)
go EAST towards the bay
Turn Right ASAP (first light)
Turn Right in the FIRST driveway
The last one was pretty small due to the Historics.
This one will be much larger. There are now close to
50 people on the private list. There will be about 20+
cars this time. The main body of cars are E36 M3s.
Anything you want to see is there. Stock, supercharged,
various modifications, 1996 cars, LTWs(?). From what
I've seen, they're generally more M owners at these than
anywhere short of a BMW track event (OK and the Bavarian
meeting last year). There are also quite a few E30 M3s,
M6s, M5s (old style and new).
If you don't have an M car and are interested in seeing
them, come on by. Everyone is really friendly and
willing to talk.
The main purpose is to take a look at other cars and see
what works and what doesn't. It's a great opportunity to
share experiences (vendor bash/praise, ya know), and share
a beer (or Coke) with others you've exchanged e-mail with.
I'll have the floating rotors there for all to take a look
at, if interested.
