Eric,
It's most likely a dry joint in the sway bar link. You can replace them,
the new ones are beefier anyway, or you can inject a bit of grease, lube,
oil, into the boot of the joint. The cheap fix works most of the time, the
boot can stand the puncture. The part's not too expensive either. Just
remember to hold the flat side of the joint's "bolt" when you try to remove
the nut, or zap it with an air gun.
