Its definitely not the end of the digest...Im sure some will venture and
check out the newsgroup, but after seeing Usenet postings like:

            ***KILL ALL NIGG...!!***  (klu&klan.com)
            ***GET RICH FAST! SEND $5.00 FOR MORE INFO**!!! (Lou@domain.elided)
               RE:KILL ALL NIGG...!!**  (white@domain.elided)
             How do I reset my service lights?  (clue@domain.elided)
            CYBERSLUTS ARE WAITING!! (jack@domain.elided)
            Bon Ami on my windshield  (get@domain.elided)

   they will come right back to the digest.  Where they can get the same
info, without
   all the spam.
