If the control arms, bushings, and other steering components were
replaced only a year ago AND the steering has begun to feel sloppy, I
suggest you check the bushing again. Standard E30 bushings are fairly
soft - they're designed to degrade in order to protect the more expensive
metal components. Maybe the bushings have been worn by hard
steering (ie., aggresive driving) or maybe they were torn (even slightly)
when last installed. Just a place to look though. If you have to replace
the bushings again (always in pairs BTW), consider the M3 OFFSET
version. They're more expensive (~~$120/pr) but IMHO longer lasting
under identical circumstances. Many E30 track guys use the M3 bushing.
