Re: Yokohama Tires - AVS S4 - Z

I know, I know, I hate to beat the radar detector/tires/synthetic oil 
conversations into the ground, but the AVS S4 is a significant new tire 
that many of us should look at for our BMW's.

All the new Yokes (i.e. S4, 032, etc) have increased tread life due new 
technology developments at Yokohma. The AVS S4 is a special tire for 
several reasons:
	1. High performance (Z rating, which is important for the increased
		sidewall stiffness which increases road feel)
	2. Four season rating (not too many Z rated all weather tires)
	3. 40,000 mile tread warranty (not too many high performance tires
		with this kind of warranty - actually none).

	I am a staunch Yoke user, and spent 15 minutes speaking with reps 
at OctoberFest. Seems that the S4 and 032 (road race / auto-x) have made 
significant improvements in durability.
