[2500, 2800, Bavaria, 3.0] Join the Senior Six Registry

Fellow enthusiasts,

Although it's a little premature, now is as good of time as any to announce:

The Senior Six Registry, formerly maintained by the ellusive (yet capable)
Gary Apps
of Kalamazoo, Michigan has hereby returned from beyond the grave.

Myself, along with Tom Van Gunten of TX, have began the recruitment of
interested
parties for membership in this much missed premiere registry.

Ask yourself these questions:

-- Are you sick and tired of people asking you what "series" your
2800 is??

-- Have you grown tired of people wrongfully identifying your pride
and joy??

-- "You have a 3.0si?? You mean the COUPE??"

-- "Is that a 525??" ("No, they just copied the styling of
my Bavaria")

-- Does it make you cringe when your friend--the M3 owner--asks,
           "Who's Miller and Nordstroms??"

-- Do you long for the days before every beautiful, blond haired
freshman college girl (or boy, depending) seemed to be
driving some version of a BMW??

-- Do you enjoy driving 130mph in a rock steady 25 year old car that
no one
           seems to appreciate??

Well then, you are amongst friends.

Contact me (or Tom at tomark@domain.elided) to put your name on the mailing
list for the initial application packet. Membership fees will not exceed
$20.00 (hopefully) and will include a quarterly newsletter, an electronic
version of the same, a membership registry complete with addresses,
telephone numbers, etc., of active members, and some fellowship, one would
hope.

If you know of anyone who may be interested, please forward this message to
them, and if you are so inclined, you can CROSS POST this message to any and
all automotive BBs around the world (no alt.conspiracy.assasinations, etc.,
however).

Look for our solicitation in the upcoming issues of _Roundel_ and spread the
word!!
