It is rare that I find my lowly self in the position of saying "yeah, I knew
that..." when one of our truely knowledgeable contributors chimes in with
such a tidbit, let alone when it is forwarded from yet another one of our
well established automaniacs, so I couldn't resist tossing in a rare "me
too".
A 4 oz. tube of CRC Disc Brake Quiet can be had for $3.99 at Pep Boys. I've
used it on every disc brake job for probably the last 8 or 10 years with
nothing but great success. Make it part of the procedure (if it's not
already).
