Larger than stock tires on E36 318is?

I am in the market for some new tires for my '94 318is
and an interested in replacing the stock tires (205-60x15)
with slightly larger - 215-60x15.  

I was curious if anyone has done this?

I am using stock rims and will probably buy the same Mich. XV4
tires.  Is there any major reason to do this or not?
