     Whatever you do, don't be tempted to use One-Day Paint and Body. Even 
     on a car that you're going to sell, don't do it. Avoid One-Day Paint 
     and Body like the plague. You'd expect them to be in the same league 
     as Earl Sheib (sp?), but they're not. They're not as 'good' as Earl 
     Sheib...that's not very good. If the digest ever gets real slow, I'll 
     expand the story. I don't smear/pan without good reason...

     The lapis blue (dark or midnight blue) paint on my 82 528e (E28, 141K) 
     is
     fading... I have earmarked about $1,000, is this reasonable.
     
     Any ideas, suggestions and warnings would be appreciated.
