The most common cause of squeeking belts is the pulleys being
mis-alligned. You can usually see the problem by holding a straight
edge along the belt - the pulleys should be nearly perfectly in line
and parallel. If they arn't it is sometimes possible to loosen bolts
and align them. Sometimes replacing the pulley helps. Occasionally
you can bend or shim a bracket to put them more in line.
