Hello,
I have a question that maybe someone can answer. Has anyone experienced
rough idling on a 325e after changing the timing belt, tensioner, and water
pump?
Someone suggested reseting the computer? I'm searching for answers. My
story goes like this. I have my beautiful 84 325e with 140k miles running
like a champ, I decide because of the mileage to get the timing belt, etc done
at a shop. When I get my car back it was idling high and rough and lack of
power upon initial start up. I take the car to another shop just to get the
inspection sticker and he adjust the idle. But even with the adjustment it
still has rough idle and no power. I start the car and it lacks power, then
I shut it off and then restart it and then it runs o.k. I'm taking the car
back to the shop where the work was done but I'd appreciate any suggestions.
