Well today I did it.  I closed the deal and brought home a 1987 L6 which has 
to be the nicest 6er I have ever seen.  66K miles, the interior is 10/10, the 
body is straight and rust free and the only defects are the TRX's, a cracked 
foglamp lens and a shorted high temp aux. fan switch.  It took two long years 
and you, ladies and gentlemen of the digest, kept me on track and looking for 
something better.  I found it and I'm grateful for your advice and counsel.  
Got it for the right price as well.  It just doesn't get any better than this.
