I hate insurance companies

>1st reason: Insurance! -- more than double the cost of the 328is [currently
>$1,275/yr] in my region --- I got quoted over $215/mo! for the M3...and that
>was for a less desirable '95 model -- the '96 wasn't near its shipping date
>yet...

>2nd reason: Availability -- I bought the 328is on January 5th, many months
>ago

>3rd reason: Cost -- A similarly equiped M3 would have cost a bundle more than
>the 34k steal I got, also, my entire M-Technic body treatment was "paid for"
>- -- beleive it or not -- by the insurance company of a little old lady that
>backed into my rear bumper at the super market in May [yes its the whole body
>package, don't ask :)], and the Moda wheels and BMP gauges were carried over
>from my '94 325is.

I hate having to pay tons of cash each month for insuring my 91 535i.
I think everybody does. The person that posted the above message
indicates the same thing in his first reason.

Why does he then point out in his third reason how he had insurance
pay for the M-Technic body treatment?

Now I am not a lawyer, and I am not familiar with the particulars, but
don't you think that this kind of activity increases the cost and
     price of insurance?
