M52 ENGINE: BMW TECH. REF. BULLETIN #11-75-96

I received a copy from Kent-Moore (1-800-345-2233) of BMW Technical Reference
Bulletin # 11-75-96 dated 3/96. It is eleven pages and covers the M52 engine
used in the 96 328i (E36), 97 528i (E39). The cost was $10.50. It details the
changes made to the M52 engine and associated equipment. An interesting read.
When you call, ask them to send you a copy of their eight page catalog which
covers tools, technical reference bulletins, service training publications,
electrical troubleshooting and repair manuals. All their literature is
hardcopy and the pricing on most items is quite steep. It is a good reference
to get the BMW equivalent micro-fiche part# which is the same. For example
the technical data #6 manual part# 001-51-9-788-311 dated 2/96 which covers
torque data etc. on all models from 94 to present is $225.00 hardcopy from
Kent-Moore & the same # from BMW gets you the micro-fiche for $12.75. When I
get a chance I will post a summary of all hardcopy & fiche I was able to
obtain pertaining to my 96 328is coupe.
