RE: Slick 50

Well, I know that no one believes in the validity of Slick 50, but here's my
experience. Once upon a time, I had an '84 318i (E30). In the winter if the
car were cold, I would have to start the car 3 times in order for it to remain
running. After I put Slick 50 in it, the car always stayed running after the
first cold start.

Now, I've seen arguments about long term effects, but I didn't notice any.
That's not to say they didn't exist, I just didn't notice them. The cam was
starting to go when I sold the car, but I only had Slick 50 in it for 20k before
the sale.

So the questions are - 1. Did Slick 50 cause this cam damage?; 2. Could the
damage have been caused in 20k?
