Just crawled under a new 528i : soo..... much aluminium frame and
suspension. Very impressive .
The GM THM R1 auto trans is made in Strasbourg France and uses
lifetime ATF. It has two oil pans .
(According to the large sticker on the pan )
" Do not Change" and yet there is a large drain plug(......?)
If fluid is to be added it states use DEXRON 3. It has two oil pans.
The vehicle had BOGE dual chamber gas filled shocks.
Anyone know the reasonable service life of BOGE gas shocks?
