[owners beware] sticky sunroof on E36 M3

I had a similar problem (sunroof sticking, not missing the allen wrench :-))
on my '96 328is.  I would have to manually close the sunroof from full open,
but if I left it just short of full it would close fine via the switch.
Ended up having the sunroof motor replaced (under warranty) and have been
using the sunroof almost daily for about six weeks with no re-occurance of
the problem (knocking on wood :-)).
