<02>pedal cluster

I have checked my books I have checked the net and nothin'.  Now I must turn 
to the masters. How do I completely remove the gas pedal linkage from the 
pedal cluster.  I want to remove every piece from pedal to carb.  I got the 
carb linkage off no sweat, the bar going down to the bar outside of the box 
without problem but now I am stuck.  I want to remove the bar that attaches 
to the pedal and goes just outside the pedal box.
Please help.  I hope I did not leave anything out.
