E36 ENGINE COMPARTMENT LIGHT

I just purchased the underhood engine compartment light, mounting bracket,
lamp, switch and associated hardware to install in my 328is for less than
$20.00. This does not come with USA vehicles. It is somewhat obvious where
the switch goes but not  the mounting bracket. Would someone from Europe or
Canada please check under their hood and let me know?
