The only cure for "Wobbly" butterfly shafts would be to get an .10" oversize
shaft or replace the bushings on the shaft.My supplier who has the worlds
largest inventory of "Old" Carb Kits has the Gasket kits but not the pieces.
Perhaps after disassembly you could locate a machine shop who could
fabricate bushings. I can supply the Solex Carb O'H kits for $16.50 ea if
you decide to tackle the dissassembly. Good Luck w/ that "Oldie But Goodie"
