E34 Door Trim

I have a 1991 M5 (E34) with a minor problem.  There is a trim panel on each 
inside rear door right above the arm rest.  It appears to be glued to the vinyl 
behind it.  On both rear doors these trim panels have pulled away from the 
door, and now "flap loose".  I tried a hot melt adhesive to re-attach them with 
limited success (about 1 week).  Any suggestions for a more durable 
adhesive/reattachment scheme?  Thank you in advance.
