'77 320i suggestions

I'm currently the proud owner of a '77 320i and I'm looking for 
suggestions as to what to do to it.
Here's the specs:
 '77 320i
 No major trouble, ever.
 150 thou klicks
 new tires, steering just rebuilt
 comparitively very rust free
 vinyl, black interior; originally coral paint
 one owner since new
 4 speed
 BBS rims
What else is there to say? What I want to know is should I keep it stock 
or modify it? If I'm to modify it, it would be nice to keep it period. 
Can anyone suggest sources for performance parts? What do people think 
of the investment potential of such a car? It owes me nothing...
