E34 520i idling problems

My E34 520i idling seems to fluctuate between 400 - 900 rpm's especially 
when I'm at a standstill and turn the steering wheel (like when parking 
the car) and so often it stalls the car. Checked the CO levels, a-ok.

Any ideas?.
