It stands for the greek letter `eta' which is commonly used in
physics as the ratio of the energy a motor produce versus the
energy it burns.
The 2.8e motor was designed to (merely) as powerfull in low revs
as the 2.8i motor. with a less fuel consumption.
You can have a `eta' using LaTeX: \eta
