535/735 Steering

Folks,

For the 535/735 steering problem resulting from road water on the steering 
belt, do some research (Bekkers??).  On European models, BMW provides a 
plastic valence mounted under the engine between the front suspension and
bumper.  Not sure how much it costs, but it keeps most of the water off *my* 
steering belt, and other parts.  I'd offer a source, but mine came on the
European delivery car.  As I recall, it increases your top end by reducing
drag, as well. :-)  Good luck
