  Typical of a Dinan rep (forgive me ;)

  When they pull out your DME, they will see the scratched, bent, and broken
  tabs, and they will KNOW something's up ... 

  You see, that's why they changed the cover material from steel(iron) to 
  a soft aluminium alloy ... ANY movement of the "tabs" is noticeable, and
  if you open the box up a few times (once to put in, once to remove) chances
  are that the tabs will BREAK OFF .. leaving a solid indication of what 
  NA calls "tampering" ...
