A question was recently asked concerning a non-plastic replacement radiator for
a 528e.
I recently replaced a split plastic rad on my '85 535i with a metal one. It was
sold as an OEM quality radiator (cost me $360), but did not have the necessary
brackets to hold the fan shroud, and had no drain plug!
Beware of aftermarket rads.
