The manual tranny is correct but I don't know about the rest
because I've never seen a Euro M535i except in passing.

% probably a 528e.  The air filter housing  for a 528e is on the

It also came in red with the same momo treatment as the black.

M535i

In the US the M5 was introduced in '87 as an '88 model.
I know it came in red and black.  I saw a red one at a dealer and
it was a true M5.  There were M535i in Europe in various years before
'88.
