I have an unusual 1989 525i. I bought it new at Harloff BMW in Encinitas CA. The story I got was that the car was built for a car show and so it was equipped with ABS, SRS, 7 series A/C control plate, headlight washers, ski bag, heated seats and a 5 speed manual transmission. It has been a great car and I plan to keep it for several more years. I would like to hear from anyone who has repaired the air conditioning system or headlight washers.
