I haven't seen any reply yet, but I too am interested in the 318i, 320i,
323i and 325i - the models from about 1982 onwards (in Australia that
is - but probably roughly the same elsewhere).  So does anyone have any 
tips to look for, things to avoid etc??  Also, obviously the 6 cylinder
ones (323 and 325) are better than the 4 cylinder ones, but really
worth the extra money??
