MM motor

On Metric Mechanic:

They build a hot 2800cc (probably make a 3.0 now) small six for about
$4000. Their forte' is clever marketing of good products at fair to
expensive prices. For instance, they sell a "curved finger" water
pump for 2002s which involves installing a curved aluminum piece onto
the stock housing to get rid of that sharp corner in the water flow
path. It costs like $90. Yow.
They used to make hellacious transmissions, with redone synchros and
hardier bearings. I think Jim Blanton left to make his fortune else-
where.
They do know how to make a motor, though. And Jim Rowe'll talk your
ear off on the phone. Better attitude than, say, Ray Korman's place,
which seems to want to be snotty sometimes.
They cater to older cars more than Korman.
