I have a 1992 318is, and the clearance problem mentioned in an
message is prevalent on my car too. I am not quite sure what to do
about it, as it is an annoying but not harmful problem. My car is
heading into the dealership for a physical (Check engine light appears
once and awhile...) so I will let them know about the hood and see what
the answer is. In a future post, I will let you all know what I find out....
