Stephan Woodward asked what lead-substitute to add to his unleaded gas
to provide for his 2002:
1: 2002s have hardened steel valve seats, not the induction
hardened seats a la Chevy V8 etc. which need tetraethyl lead to survive.
BMW made no changes to the valve seat technology to accomodate unleaded
gasoline.
2: I used 104+ Lead Substitute before and was satisfied that
it did very little to my motor over its lifetime.
