A friend of mine has an '85 (I think) 325 that has its service indicator
lights on ALL THE TIME. Not just when the ignition is in the "on" position,
but all the time. There has to be a short or something wrong in the circuit
somewhere but where would be the best place to start troubleshooting? The
battery goes dead (or low enough so the car won't start) in about a day and a
half. I'm not convinced that its just the service lights draining the battery,
but I guess its possible. Could it be a relay stuck closed, or something
along those lines. Somehow 12v is getting to the service pc board without
the ignition on. Any help is appreciated. I'll probably look at it this
weekend sometime.
