  The coolant sensor is dead .. replace it ... 

  To test, run a paper clip as a jumper across the two socket holes in the
  harness connector that goes to the coolant sensor .. start car ... if
  you get no lite, sensor was bad .. it CLOSES the ckt. when coolant level
  is correct, OPENS it whan it is low ..
