Perma Plate and waxing a New BMW
I seem to be getting conflicting information.
I just bought an M3 a couple of months ago. The
dealer (obviously) recomended Perma-Plating
the car, which I did. Now, if I wax the car, all
else being equal, will the paint be any better off
in the long run with or without the Perma Plate?
The source of my confusion comes from a detailer
who said the best thing to do is strip the Perma-
Plate off, then apply a sealer, then wax it. And
wax the car every six months. Or should I not
worry about the d--n 'Plate and just wax right
on over it?
I now know enough to be dangerous.
Does anyone have any experience with Perma-Plate,
who does not stand to make a dime off me, that is
willing to give their honest opinion? Thanks.
I'd hate to do anything that would hurt the paint.
