>close to the same, actually. 75W90 gear lube ~= 10W30 motor oil for >viscosity (additives are different, which is why there is more than >one product.) Don't know why, but my 85 5er overdrive box didn't like 75-90. I put in the 30 and it felt much better in the cool winter. Jim
