Brake light warning coming on with cruise control.

I posted before this phenomena on my 85 535i. Some times the brake light
warning light comes on along with the flashing yellow CHECK. I followed
somebody's advise "sorry forgot the name" and have give credit where it is
due.

I looked at the back of the rear lights (for the first time) removed the 
moshy plastic/.. cover and removed the brake light bulb holder "the bulb
sits in a plastic adapter which is 1/4 turned into the rear lights.....

The contacts on the adaptor where not so good, they had some "salt" similar
to what you would see on your battery. With some soft sand paper that I found
in the tool set (I guess the previous owner did the same thing- I bet) I
cleaned the contacts both ends and cleaned the bulb, pressed the plug in
and cleaned all the other adaptors (that was on the left side) the right
side wasn't as bad.. much better. Now I know why the left brake light wasn't
as bright as the right one...  any way to cut a long story short.. I've
been using the cruise control ever since (4 day now) many times a day and
the brake warning light dosen't come on. Usually it came on once in every
three times. I wonder if....?? I was anxious to share this with all of you.

Looks like the computer is very sensitive to bad connections, must have those
amps - or else.
