Alignment and tire problems, look for uneven wear, or extreme wear.

Failed rear shock mounts really bang and crash over bumps.

RTAB the car is twitchy when getting on and off the gas (fairly hard).

And the shocks probably need replacing anyway, if they're original, and the
car has over 40-50k miles...
