re: WANTED: Euro E12 525 (1979-1981) parts:

You may be disappointed with the results of the swap you seek to make.
I used to do the opposite on the L Jet cars. That is to disconnect the electronic ignition setup, and replace it with a points distributor from a Bavaria.
So keep your points distributor. Then in that distributor, use a Mallory magnetic ignition pickup and power pack kit.
    Why?
The older points distributor has a generally hotter advance curve than the later electronic distributor. Simple installation. The Mallory inductive pickup is inexpensive, reliable, and fires the coil hotter than the factory ignition unit. For best results also use a Mallory Voltmaster coil. What a wallop.
Plus NGK brand wires listed for '75-8 Datsun 280Z, and NGK BP6ET (or Q) spark plugs. These are the standard plugs listed for Mazda RX7 of that vintage. They are a triple or quad electrode version of the standard BP6ES plug.
_Imho you will be pleased with the results.
