[alfa] Door rebuild

I am in the process of refurbishing the doors on my 69 GTV.  The door 
hinges are currently at a local restoration shop.  They were so worn that, 
when open, the rear of the door could be raised 3-4 inches.  The machine 
shop is pressing out the pins, boring out the hinges and putting in 
bushings to refurbish the hinges.  Is anyone out there interested having 
the machine shop make up additional bushings while they are doing mine?
Secondly, I have purchased new rubber door gaskets.  The gasket fits into a 
channels mounted at several positions on the body.  My local body shop 
suggested using a silicone lube to make it easier to push the gasket lip 
into the channel.  Are there any other tricks to inserting the 
gasket.  This is the large gasket that totally surrounds the door opening 
in the body.
