[alfa] vacuum tester for carb adjustment

Alfisti,
I found a neat little cast aluminum pistol-grip vacuum generator for helping 
with brake bleeding. The instruction book was great information and included a 
short bit on vacuum line diagnosis. There is a dial gauge on the device that 
measures up to 25 inches of mercury. Can this gauge be used to more finely 
balance dual webers, better than say visually matching the throttle plate through 
the inspection port? To what orifice would a person attach the gauge to for 
measurement? Thanks, Digest, it's only car talk afterall.
