CLUTCH PIVOT R&R:
    I am having my transmission rebuilt, so I thought it a good time to R&R 
the clutch pivot pin, as I've heard they break easily.I have 69K on my Spider, 
and it works just fine, but I have gotten stuck in the Bronx, South Philly, 
etc.---basically if my SPider dies, it makes sure I am in a bad neighborhood.

    There was a thread of subject on the repair of the pivot pin, requiring 
som welding to strengthen it..it seems to have been designed poorly........so 
my mechanic is doing it for me.  I've attached the links from the old 
Digest.......
